At the end of October, we went to Tokyo for Oren's second trip. We celebrated his great grandmother's 90th birthday, his great grandfather's 92nd birthday, his cousin Takeshi's wedding, and our 6th wedding anniversary.
Oren enjoyed seeing Tokyo while riding on Hiroko's back. He did not ride in a stroller the entire trip!
At the zoo Oren had close encounters with a polar bear kind. Someone really enjoyed it, someone else did not.
Of course Rugby and Jimmy were in Tokyo too!
Happy 90th birthday O-baba!
We spent 2 child-free nights in Ishigakijima - one of many islands making up the archipelago, Okinawa. We ate lots of fresh fish and Ishigaki-jima, got a ride from a water buffalo and walked on star-shaped sand at the beach.
Oren was a good little boy for Jiji and Obaachama while his mama and daddy were away. He was always in high spirits and so was Jiji because he never had to change a diaper.
Oren spent every morning at the local playground going up and down the slides.
