April in Seattle

April in Seattle brought cherry blossoms and puddles and most importantly an opportunity for us to visit Grandma. Oren has been out on his bike more but still alternates between the tricycle and his balance bike.  He's also enthusiastic to show what a good big brother he can be, holding hands with Naoki, hugging him, and even helping him hold a bottle.
April also meant Easter and Passover. Oren dyed Easter eggs and since the weather didn't cooperate an indoor Easter egg hunt with Daddy.  Passover meant lots of matzah and chopped liver for Oren.  We did a 2-minute Haggadah and Oren asked some questions.

Our easy direct flight to Grandma's in DC was complicated by a plane that tried twice but wouldn't take off because of some arcane warning light followed by the flight being cancelled and then switching to a different airline, different airport. This was further complicated by our luggage being checked with the first airline. We were fortunate enough to learn where the luggage went and picked it up at midnight after the kids were asleep.
