Obaachama and Jiji visit

Obaachama came to Seattle to visit us and to meet Naoki in mid-October.  Luckily, her visit coincided with a string of many shifts in a row for Ryan so Hiroko did not completely fall apart keeping two boys alive and happy.  Between getting snuggles in with Naoki and throwing Oren around on his "new bed," Obaachama helped Hiroko register Naoki as a Japanese citizen and then prepared the special red snapper meal that helped to celebrate his name.  Jiji arrived after many an ordeal (missing his flight in NY!) and quickly fell back into our house's routine adding a new role of holding Naoki to keep him quiet.   It was a festive week with Obaachama and Jiji with lots of yummy food as always!
