Today we finally got a hiking carrier for Oren and decided to test it out on the trails. We went to Bridal Veils Falls at Lake Serene in the Cascade Mountains. We suited Oren up in his snow outfit from grandma so that he could not remove his socks and could not take his hat off. We had a great hike and just beat out the rain. But that doesn't mean we didn't get wet. We forded several streams (Jersey waded through) and then got misted on by the powerful falls. Oren had fun and even fell asleep for stretch. He definitely takes after his Mama!
